PART TWO – WINTER
Love. Yourself. First. These three words are the inspiration for this project – filled with my favorite beauty secrets: timeless recipes that will rejuvenate the senses and revive the mind. They are more than therapeutic rituals. My hope is that you will experience them as anecdotes, and that you will find a way to make them personal.
”ER” MASSAGE OIL
As soon as you feel you are getting a little bit of a cold, use this combination of essential oils to help your immune system stay strong.
What you need
An 80 ml to 100 ml glass bottle
A small glass (15 tablespoons) of Nigella oil*
4 drops of ravensara
4 drops of lavender
3 drops of rosemary
2 drops of pine
Mix all the ingredients in the glass bottle. Shake well. Massage the oil into your abdomen, neck, and lower back two to three times a day, or ask your partner to give you a massage! Then stay warm. Although very efficient, this blend should not be considered as a substitute to any
*Nigella is black cumin oil. It is extremely helpful in strengthening the immune system but the smell is really strong, so you can replace it with sweet almond oil or sesame oil.
IMMUNE BOOSTER BATH OIL
This mix is more than a fragrant sensual experience. It will also protect your immune system, boost your energy level, and soften the skin. Each ingredient has been selected for its healing, stimulating, and aphrodisiac properties.
What you need
An 80 or 100 ml glass bottle
8 tablespoons of organic milk
5 tablespoons of sesame oil
6 drops of geranium
6 drops of sandalwood
3 drops of pine
Mix the sesame oil and the essential oils in the glass bottle. Shake it, and then add the milk.
Shake the bottle again and pour into water only once the bathtub is full. This way, it will prevent the oils from evaporating too fast under the pressure of the running water. Sink in and enjoy!
